The Latino Family Literacy Project was voted as an Educational Superstar in the 2019 Superstars in Education Awards held by the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce. Each year, the Superstars in Education Selection Committee honors educational programs that offer innovative education and learning techniques. Blades Elementary School of the Seaford School District utilize the Projects workshops in order to better prepare teachers, school administrators, and parents in the educational endeavors of English Learners in their district.
